My name is Apu Hazra. I am the founder of StockPriceTarget.in and DividendBonus.com. I was born in June 1999 in a middle-class family. My love for saving started during my school days. After completing my Higher Secondary (Arts) from Serampore Malina Lahiri Boys’ Academy, I completed my Hardware and Networking Engineering from George Telegraph Training Institute. The habit of saving just 10 rupees for school tiffin as a child and depositing it in the bank has made me a disciplined investor today.
Education and experience
I first learned about the stock market in 2019 from YouTube and started investing in real money during the market crash of 2020. Initially, I lost a lot of money while trading and working on short-term movements. From those mistakes, I realised that to be successful in the stock market, it is necessary to understand the fundamentals of the business, leaving aside the hope of quick profits. Since then, I started learning more about technical analysis, support-resistance and risk management.
Currently, in addition to my own portfolio, I also manage the investment portfolios of my mother and sister. Also, I currently invest in both the Indian and US stock markets as a long-term investor.
Why did I create this website?
The main purpose of creating StockPriceTarget.in is to present company analysis, risks, business prospects and market-related information in simple language for retail investors. I created StockPriceTarget.in to simplify stock market information and make company analysis easier to understand, especially for people who are new to investing. I do not advise anyone to buy or sell any shares. Rather, my goal is to present as much information, analysis and real aspects of the company in a simple way so that a person can make their own decision. I know how much every rupee is worth to the common man. My goal is:
